A Pirate’s Life for Me!!
Hello!
While most little girls were dreaming of being princesses of fairy queens I was dreaming of being a cowboy or a pirate and last night one of those ambitions was realised!!!
Due to the sudden unavailability of one cast member, I was asked to go on as one of Captain Gordon’s pirate crew last night.
The last minute decision was taken with 45 minutes till curtain up and we were all very grateful that the costume fitted! I shall continue to play this part for the show’s duration at the Lansown and revel in being one of Captain Gordon’s disreputable crew!
Below you can see a picture of Pirate Nicola. Evidently I am very pleased with my piratical garb, though I confess I am getting very attached to my hat!!!

Whores on Air!
And a pirate too!

This afternoon myself, Jasmine Smart (writer and producerand the whore, Rosanna) and Ed Browning (the afore mentioned pirate) recorded an interview for BCFM at their studios in Bristol.
The interview was conducted by the lovely Joanne and will be broadcast tomorrow (Saturday 31st July) between 10am and 12pm.

The show is being broadcast ahead of the Harbour Festival, which sees the cast of Whore’s Aboard engaging in some sword play on the harbour side. If you’re in the vicintiy pop downand see what’s going on!

The tickets have now gone on sale for Whores Aboard! The venues are listed below.
Upstairs at The Lansdown
On Clifton Road, Bristol, the show will be playing her for 3 nights from the 29th July. Further venue details and information on how to buy tickets can be found by clicking here.

‘Seconds Out’ News!
Hello!
I am very pleased to announce that I shall now be playing the lead female role of Christine Broadribb in ‘Seconds Out’.
Sadly due to personal reasons Natasha Staples is unable to take on the role as previously planned. After careful consideration the producers offered the role to yours truly and I am delighted to be able to accept.
Rehearsals are likely to commence in earnest the instant I return from the Edinbugh festival and I will post more news, as it becomes available, on here!

I Wish To Go To The Festival!

As sung by Cinderella in Into the Woods, ‘I wish to go to the festival’, the Edinburgh festival that is! And joy of joys, my wish has been granted! From 15th – 29th August I shall be in Edinburgh with the wonderful new play Whores Aboard. The show has a Facebook page, which also details the shows in Bristol beforehand.
An extract from the publicity material is shown below. During the run I shall be understudying Miranda, whilst also dressing as a pirate and sword fighting on the royal mile!

Seconds Out *UPDATED*
Hello!
During the autumnal month of October I shall be appearing in ‘Seconds Out’, a new musical by Terry Williams. The musical centres around the rise to fame of boxer Freddie Mills.
The short run is from Octobr 17th to 23rdinclusive at the Edward Alderton Theatre. More details to follow later in the year.

Double Take… part two! *UPDATED*
Hello!
After two successful days filming, I shall be returning to the midlands for one final day next week. Pictures from the shoot will hopefully be up soon, are now available, at the bottom of this post!
If you get the chance, please check out www.feathersatludlow.co.uk. This amazing venue is where we spent one day of our filming and it’s a really remarkable Jacobean building, complete with an incredible period interior and uneven floors! Worth a look if you’re in the area!
