Busy Times at The Den!
Hello!
Well, if January hasn’t just flown by! As reported elsewhere I took and passed my BADC Level 1 stage combat exam with Gold. Simultaneously I returned to the Banquet to cover for illness as several Medieval types were struck down with flu!
Returning to the Banquet was a real pleasure (especially when presented with new and exciting costumes!) so I have agreed to return for a three month period. On of the new costumes is pictured below.
Within the next few weeks I hope to provide more information about my schedule for the rest of the year, but in the spirit of not counting chickens I won’t say anything yet…… Just know all my fingers and toes are crossed!

On Guard!
Hello!
A super quick note to say that on Saturday I gained my BADC Level 1 stage combat qualification at Gold level, woohoo!
More information and videos clips to follow, but I am now certified for rapier and dagger, single sword and unarmed!

Witch on the ‘Waves!
Hello!
I took to the airwaves with BBC Radio CWR on Tuesday and the interview is available to be listened to on BBC i Player by clicking HERE for the next few days! (The interview happens 2 hours and 16 minutes into the programme)
In other news, rehearsals are going well, my costume is sparkly and amazing and my evil laugh is out in full force!
Public dress on Friday and opening night on Saturday…. more news after that!

Panto Update!
Hello!
Panto rehearsals are well and truly underway and it’s all very exciting. The cast is very strong and there should be some really exciting moments in the show. Also, I’m hoping to achieve a panto first; I’ll certainly be doing something out of the ordinary for a Pantomime Witch!
Tickets are selling now, so if you need to book click HERE asap! Opening night is December 3rd, but on Tuesday 29th I shall be appearing on BBC Radio CWR with other pantomime baddies to chat about the coming season. Tune in at ten past four!

What’s that you say? It’s Panto time? Now I’m getting all excited! So book your tickets, I’ll see you there, Because you’re all invited! This year’s treat is Sleeping Beauty, (The princess’s narcoleptic!) And I’ll be cackling manically So join us! One For All!
Hello!
After months of watching the Banquet knights clashing steel on steel, I decided to bite the bullet myself and have a go!
Independent Drama ran a one day Musketeers Workshop to coincide with the release of The Three Musketeers, so with no experience of rapier and dagger whatsoever but buckets of enthusiasm I enrolled on this course!
Warning! Sword fighting causes muscles to ache you didn’t know you had!
However, after a great day I have decided to enrol on a certified course in the new year, so watch this space! Spot the three happy Musketeers in training on the left!

From the Medieval World to Fairytale Land!
Hello!
Time has flown by and I am entering the last fortnight of my contract at the Banquet!
The last six months has been so much fun and I am definitely going to miss the wonderful cast and crew there. However, as one door closes another opens and – after a short trip to warmer climes – I shall be returning to the boards as the wicked witch in Bedworth Civic’s Sleeping Beauty!
More info to follow soon on that, but in the meantime I plan to love every moment of my last fortnight as an all singing, all dancing, bawdy wench of the banquet!
